Book 1, Series 1, Chapter 6

Chapter 6           The tall trees stood graciously with their green glory, each leaf catching every ray of sun. They all trudged through foliage and greenery, their bags bouncing with every step. Gaze observed every leaf, plant, and stone, making sure nothing was dangerous, while Firestone carelessly bounded through anything without hardly taking a peek at it. She was really starting to make him nervous. Celestial, on the other hand, had a stick she was using to move away stems and branches in front of her, although each time they flung back, nearly nailing Celeste in the face. Celestial had made a big fuss about leaving most of her bags back in the village, they had convinced her to bring one bag with the most important of her possessions, and one favorite outfit, "besides, there'll be lots of stores as we go" Gaze had reassured her, and that seemed to lighten her mood. "This is so awesome!" Leilani squealed with excitement "Junica never let me go into t

Chapter 5              Everyone agreed that they would leave the next day, so they could have time to pack their bags. Gaze took everything he thought he would need in the Willowing Woods, then walked to over to Firestone's house, they had agreed to meet there because her house was the closest to the forest, and much to Crystal and the twin's despise Midnight had told Celeste and Neptune everything that had happened the day before, and both had agreed on coming. When Gaze entered Firestone's doorway, he saw Midnight, Firestone, Celestial, and Crystal were waiting will full bags, however, they weren't waiting very quietly.           "There is no way your bringing all of those bags!" Firestone yelled at Celestial, pointing at her obviously fancy bags that basically screamed glitter.          "I can bring what ever I want! Besides, what if I get my clothes muddy and need a second pair? Or three of the same outfit in case one rips? And then there's all m

Book 1, series 1, Chapter 4

Chapter 4          Leilani screamed when the wasp-like drones dug up from under the earthy, grass speckled ground, charging right at her, Midnight sprang into action, and before the drones reached Leilani a force field appeared in front of Leilani, blocking the drones way. "Let me out now! Or I will burn your face off!! Along with your bug brained drones!" Firestone demanded, pounding on the force field, "your not quite in position for threats" the pixie teased, and Leilani once again screamed when the drones dug into the other side of the force field, Midnight immediately took her force field down and tried to get the drones away.          What can I do!? Gaze thought, he couldn't fight! All he had was himself and his mind, what help could he be!? Gaze, not knowing what to do, ran over and tried to pry the drones away. Wait! The visor, that must be how he's commanding the drones, if we get the visor... Gaze realized. "Midnight the visor!-" Gaze y

Chapter 3          The next morning, when the sun was peeking over the mountains beyond, shining a beautiful yellow light on the forest trees and illuminating the peach and yellow coloured flowers that spread around the valley. Gaze woke from a crash and a bang, followed by a sheepish little yelp, he dashed out of bed and ran over to his little kitchen area. Gaze stood shocked for a little before yelling "Leilani! What are you doing?!"         Leilani yelped and ran in front of a pan that was laying on the floor, "Oh, you know, just trying to make you a surprise breakfast, not really a surprise any more though, any how sorry about the pan, it was a LOT heavier then it looked."        "It's fine" Gaze sighed "wait- I told you to come at noon!"         "Yeah, about that..." Leilani said shyly, then she burst with her normal energy "oh but it was so important! When I woke I had so much energy Junica told me to let it out outside,

Book 1, series 1, Chapter 2

Chapter 2 “What!” Gaze said, coming almost as close as he could to yelling. He looked behind him, and, sure enough, a cloud of dust was beginning to form. As soon as the villagers heard, the streets became a jumbled mess of yelling and screaming. Pixies began panicking, grabbing their children, flying to higher places.  Alcahorns are one of the creatures commonly found in the Willowing Woods. They are rabbit-like creatures the size of sheep, with ram-like horns that curl inward, and a tail very similar to a lions. They are normally found with brown or grey pelts and live in burrows. Their teeth are also similar to a rabbit’s, and can dig through not only dirt, but boulders too. Alcahorns often make their homes under the common Great River-Callers, trees that are known for their pods of sweet-tasting water and their blue leaves. “We need to do something!” Neptune yelled though the chaos, “Where’s Celestial?!” Everyone turned around when the Wood Pixie who brought the news flew down to

Book 1, Series 1, Chapter 1

Prologue A pixie sat at a desk covered with scrolls and maps of all different sizes, mumbling stuff as she traced her finger on one of the scrolls. “Useless!!” She yelled, flinging all the scrolls off the desk in frustration. Watching them as they fell to the stone-covered ground. She sighed, “What is it?” She moved over to a wall, where she picked up a couple ninja throwing stars and began throwing them at the target so fast, she already had five nailed into the wood before the male Pixie had even started walking up to her from a stone door. “Well,” he said, glancing at the scrolls now spread across the floor. He cleared his throat, “We may have found something-” “Well get to the point already!” The female pixie picked up three ninja stars and threw them all at the same time, hitting three targets right in the center. “I’m getting impatient Tyson!” Tyson cleared his throat again. “I mean we may have found something- And just because I said that doesn’t mean we got it…” The female pix
